If you people read the books which I assume you haven’t or otherwise you would know this: Sherlock Holmes was a cocaine addict back when it was perfectly legal. Watson sometimes prescribed him cocaine. Sherlock Holmes is a drug addict!!!!!
Jesus Christ all of this just pisses me off. I watch Sherlock. I’m sure Elementary is fabulous. All you people who watch Elementary and like to generalize about people who watch Sherlock and attack them back are NOT HELPING. You’re just adding to the hate. I get that you’re standing up for yourselves or your show or whatever, but oh my god, everyone should just STOP. You can like whatever you like but don’t attack people for what they like! JUST STOP.
Also, just gonna point out BBC’s Sherlock is also a drug addict. It’s no completely pointed out, but there’s a scene where there’s a drug bust for Sherlock’s flat. It’s hinted at. He’s also addicted to cigarettes in the show. Whatever Sherlock fans are saying otherwise obviously aren’t paying enough attention. Or they’re just stupid. Which makes sense if they insist on attacking the Elementary fandom.
